Speaker Biographies:


Gokul Murugesan


Gokul Murugesan, executive director of Campaign Decision Science and Analytics, joined The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2021. In this role, Gokul is building an end-to-end analytics solution to provide business insights, improve decision-making and provide empirical assessment of performance at the institutional, divisional and team levels with respect to constituent engagement and philanthropy. He has more than 10 years of experience with advanced analytics, AI/machine learning, data management/governance and more than seven years of strategic leadership, product management and agile methodology experience.


Regina Alhassan


CEO of ResearchPRO, Regina Alhassan enjoys helping non-profit leaders reach their highest goals. With total dollars identified in the billions, her work as a prospect development legend continues to fuel multi-million-dollar charitable giving campaigns across the United States. With a history of industry leadership spanning two decades, Regina is a current Faculty member for Apra Fundamentals; an award-winning artist; writer; philanthropist; and TEDx.


Wyatt Loy


Wyatt Loy is the Data Reporter at Houston Business Journal, where they oversee the weekly Lists, the annual Book of Lists and editorial content on informative and helpful data that people can use. They've previously worked as a data journalist at AccuWeather and studied journalism at Kent State University in Northeast Ohio.


Heather Icenogle


Heather Icenogle, CFRE, proudly serves as Director of Annual Giving and Philanthropy Operations at Houston Food Bank. She has more than 19 years of fundraising experience and she and her team annually raise more than $15 million for hunger relief in the greater Houston area. An active member of the scholarship committee of AFP – Greater Houston Chapter, Heather is a strong advocate of continuing education to stay abreast of emerging philanthropic trends. She and her husband enjoy hanging out with friends, volunteering at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, and spending time with their spoiled rotten dog.
