Apra Greater Houston

Mentorship Program

The Apra Greater Houston Mentorship Program provides opportunities for researchers across all range of experience connect with each other and our profession. Our goal is to partner experienced prospect research professionals with less experienced Apra GH members to share knowledge and skills, and build a mutually beneficial relationship.

Why Participate?

Mentoring your fellow researchers can be a great way to give back to the industry. Sharing your knowledge and the mistakes you learned from can be incredibly helpful for someone just getting going in the field. It's a great addition to your LinkedIn profile, bringing more attention to Apra and our field of work, as well as showing prospective employers you are invested in the work! And don't forget about the opportunities networking brings!

For mentees, finding someone who is interested in seeing you succeed who has been in your shoes is harder than it should be. Apra GH can help you connect with an experienced researcher working in your same or similar field who been through what you're going through. Having a mentor can be incredibly beneficial when you're developing your research skills and learning best practices.

Join Us!

As we are building out this program, we need both mentors and mentees to express their interest in participating. Below, please click on the role you're interested in and fill out the short form to get started.
